PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf swing classification method capable of accurately classifying golf swings.SOLUTION: A classification method includes: a step of dividing a golfer's golf swing into three golf swing trajectories, namely a backswing, downswing, and follow-through, and allocating the golf swing trajectory to a two-dimensional coordinates formed by a horizontal axis and a vertical axis with the fixed point of the golf swing trajectories as an origin; a step of establishing straight lines connecting the origin and points each selected on the three golf swing trajectories of the backswing, the downswing and the follow-through, and calculating an angle formed by the established straight line and the horizontal axis respectively for the three golf swing trajectories; and a classification step of calculating an angular difference between any two angles among the calculated angles, plotting it on a two-dimensional map, and classifying the golf swing. |
