PURPOSE: A method for rapidly measuring the expansion of an electric arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate is provided to save the incidental expense cost by aging an electric arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate, and to reduce various environment load materials by re-processing a steel byproduct. CONSTITUTION: A method for rapidly measuring the expansion of an electric arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate is as follows. The electric arc furnace oxidizing slag aggregate is collected according to the regulation of KS F 2501. The collected sample is inserted into a drier, and is heated and cooled at the setting temperature for the setting time. The dry sample is sifted by using a combination mesh regulated in KS F 2502. The sample obtained in the step of sifting is inserted into the pressure container, and is heated and cooled at the setting pressure and temperature. The step of drying or pressuring is performed multiple times, and whether the expansion occurs with respect to the error rate per cycle is determined.
