PURPOSE: A parallel plane waveguide resonator and a steel scale thickness measuring method thereof are provided to be implemented at a low cost and low power by measuring the thickness of steel with only a reflection coefficient value in one frequency. CONSTITUTION: A parallel plane waveguide resonator (100) includes a top plate (110), a bottom plate (120) parallel with the top plate, a first side plate (130) sealing a first side, a second side plate (140) sealing a second side of the resonator, a coaxial cable (150) for an electromagnetic wave mode, a first tuner (160) for improving a resonance characteristic, and a second tuner (170) for resonance compensation. |
