PURPOSE: A user authentication method and system using time control are provided to prevent damage caused by leakage of personal information and solve inconvenience depending on the use of a complex password and frequent change requests. CONSTITUTION: A user authentication server (200) of a user authentication system comprises a data processing module (202) and a user authentication module (204). The data processing module receives time control data from a user controller (300) and stores the received time control data in a database (210). The user authentication module receives a user authentication request, authenticates users according to the user authentication request by using the stored time control data, and transmits the authentication result to the user authentication request system.
