PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of sufficiently suppressing deflection of a light reflection plate, and further to provide an image forming device.SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a movable body swingable about a first axis; first shaft members connected to end portions of the movable body in a direction along the first axis; and driving means that has permanent magnets, a coil for generating a magnetic field by application of voltage and voltage applying means for applying the voltage to the coil and causes the movable body to swing about the first axis. The movable body comprises: a light reflection plate 11 provided with a light reflection portion 12 having light reflectivity; a supporting frame 19 surrounding the light reflection plate 11 and having a thickness that is greater than a thickness of the light reflection plate 11 and is not greater than a thickness of 10 times as large as that of the light reflection plate 11; and a plurality of coupling portions for coupling the light reflection plate 11 and the supporting frame 19 at a plurality of places. The optical scanner is configured so as to cause the movable body to swing about the first axis at a predetermined frequency by applying the voltage of the predetermined frequency to the coil by the voltage applying means. |
