PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device and a visual inspection method for always securing inspection accuracy to guarantee inspection quality.SOLUTION: In configuration for executing calibration processing for picking up a calibration jig by imaging means, and creating calibration data based on a measurement value for calibration extracted from image information acquired by imaging to be stored by a calibration processing execution part, a screen of an inspection before start-up for notifying that the calibration processing is executed is displayed prior to display of a production start screen, and a screen of an inspection before start-up for notifying that the calibration processing is executed is further displayed prior to display of a production end screen in stop of a visual inspection device. Thus, execution omission of the calibration processing resulting from human errors such as erroneous memory of an operator is certainly prevented, and inspection accuracy of the visual inspection device is secured to guarantee inspection quality. |
