PURPOSE: An address detecting device of an automatic fire detection system in a p-address type is provided to each generate different resistance values in large quantities as each detecting device, to be conveniently operated, and to be easily used. CONSTITUTION: An address detecting device of an automatic fire detection system in a p-address type comprises a transformer (A1), a digital-analogue converter (DA), and a specific resistance detecting device (10). The transformer is connected to a general wire (A) and supplies the proper voltage to a corresponding detecting device. The digital-analogue converter coverts a digital signal of the voltage supplies from the transformer to be measured as an analogue signal and supplies it. The specific resistance detecting device installs specific resistance (RE) inside the detecting device to have different values in wires converted into the analogue signal in the digital-analogue converter and is connected to a contact switch (S) to deliver a corresponding resistance value to the wire when the detecting device is operated.
