PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient production method of a cyclic silazane compound, which is useful as a surface treatment agent, a fiber treatment agent, an adhesive, and a paint additive.SOLUTION: In a method for producing a cyclic silazane compound represented by formula (2), a mixture containing a chainlike or cyclic silazane compound represented by formula (1) (wherein n is an integer of two or more) is heated in the presence of a sulfonic acid compound or a salt thereof. Thereby, the cyclic silazane compound represented by the formula (2) which is useful as a surface treatment agent, a fiber treatment agent, an adhesive, and a paint additive can be efficiently produced with a high yield. |
