PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive component aligning device capable of uniforming components fed in a plurality of kinds of postures to a fixed posture.SOLUTION: Components 12 randomly fed in two kinds of postures, i.e., a spine reference posture and prone reverse posture are placed on a rotary arm 32 and rotated around an axis S. Until the inclination angles (equal to a rotational angle of a rotary arm 32) of the components 12 reach a sorting angle &thetas;, the components are engaged with positioning projections 26 and restricted from sliding and falling on the rotary arm 32. On the basis of a difference in a gravitational center position between the components 12 in two types of postures, in the case of the reference posture, the components are slid to fall on the rotary arm 32 while keeping the reference posture when the sorting angle &thetas; is exceeded. In the reverse posture, opening side ends C2 of the components 12 are caught in the tips of the positioning projections 26 to roll and fall on the rotary arm 32 (refer to (b) and (c)) before the sorting angle &thetas; is exceeded, and then displaced to the spine reference posture. |
