PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silicon for solar cells, a polycrystalline silicon material, a polycrystalline silicon solar cell and a method of producing the silicon for solar cells, which enable fabrication of solar cells, containing both boron and phosphorus, and having a good conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: There are provided silicon for solar cells, having a concentration of boron of ≥0.04 ppmw and ≤0.32 ppmw, a concentration of phosphorus of ≥0.06 ppmw and ≤0.4 ppmw and a concentration of aluminum of ≥1.2 ppmw and ≤4.5 ppmw, a polycrystalline silicon material and a polycrystalline silicon solar cell produced by using the silicon for solar cells, and a method of producing the silicon for solar cells. |
