PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor including a stator which enables efficient cooling and is easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A spiral shaped passage model, which has the same shape as a cooling passage made of a wax or a low melting point alloy, is sealed in a dust core material to pressure mold a stator 2. After the molding, the passage model is removed thereby forming a spiral shaped cooling passage 2d in an area near teeth 2a and a coil 4 that form a heating part in the stator 2. A coolant such as water is circulated in the cooling passage 2d. |
