PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for alarm processing of a human machine interface (HMI) system are provided to process the alarm for error in case a data value are maintained without change due to malfunction and errors. CONSTITUTION: A method for alarm processing of an HMI system comprises the steps of: collecting field data (201); displaying the collected field data on a fixing alarm list queue (202); generating an alarm event at predetermined intervals (203); scanning the data value of the fixing alarm list queue (204); and generating a fixing alarm for a corresponding data value if the data value is fixed for a predetermined time (205,212).
