PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sample paper-discharge even in a downstream side device in a system in which paper carrying has an off-line structure.SOLUTION: An image forming system is configured so that a paper carrying mechanism is not installed between a paper discharge part of an upstream side device 100 and a paper feeding part of a downstream side device 300. The upstream side device has a function to discharge normal paper having an image formed thereon and paper subjected to sample paper-discharge to different paper discharge parts when the upstream side device performs sample paper-discharge, and a function to discharge normal paper having an image formed thereon and paper subjected to sample paper-discharge by the downstream side device to the same paper discharge part when the downstream side device performs sample paper-discharge. The downstream side device has a function to discharge paper to which normal processing is applied by the downstream side device and paper subjected to sample paper-discharge by the downstream side device to different paper discharge parts when the downstream side device performs sample paper-discharge. |
