PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead the period of a weaving operation into a proper range, in manual arc welding performed while weaving.SOLUTION: There is provided an arc welding apparatus which outputs a welding current Iw and a welding voltage Vw for generating an arc 3 between an electrode 1 and a workpiece 2. The arc welding apparatus includes: a weaving period setting part TR which outputs a weaving period setting value Tr; a vibration period detection part TBD which detects and outputs a vibration period of Tbd of the welding voltage Vw or of welding current Iw; and an alarm generation part KH which outputs an alarm Kh when the absolute value of the difference between the vibration period Tbd output from the vibration period detection part TBD and the weaving period setting value Tr is equal to or larger than a predetermined value. As a result, an alarm is output when the period of a weaving operation of a welding worker deviates from a proper range, so that the period of the weaving operation can be corrected to a proper range by being guided by the alarm. |
