PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure durable reliability for repeated use and reduce the size by a simple configuration, in a terminal device using a lock spring.SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 includes a terminal board 2, a body 3 for holding the terminal board 2, and a planar lock spring 4 for electrically and mechanically connecting an electric wire 10 to the terminal board 2. The lock spring 4 includes: a lock part 41 for guiding the electric wire 10 and pressurizing and energizing the electric wire to the terminal board 2 when inserting the electric wire 10, and a deformation part 42 which is integrally provided with the lock part 41, and has a spring property in a direction orthogonal to an electric wire insertion direction. When the electric wire 10 is inserted to an electric wire insertion hole 31, the deformation part 42 is deformed, and the lock part 41 is moved in a direction y orthogonal to the insertion direction x. When the insertion is completed, an edge 41a at a distal end of the lock part 41 is gnawed into the electric wire 10 and falling is prevented. By the terminal device 1, the dimension in an electric wire inserting direction is shortened compared to a conventional lock part, since the operation is not by the deformation of the lock part 41 but by the deformation of the deformation part 42. |
