PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for a vehicle in which an electronic component can be prevented from being damaged due to an excessive current caused by generated power even when an electromagnetic motor type shock absorber is moved vertically by applying an external force to the vehicle when operation of a generated power control circuit which controls the electromagnetic motor type shock absorber is stopped.SOLUTION: A suspension device for a vehicle includes an electromagnetic motor type shock absorber 1 including an electromagnetic motor type restraint generator 6 and a generated power control circuit 72 which controls a current generated by the restraint generator 6 to flow to a power output destination 71. A resistor 73 for current restriction is provided which consumes electric power generated by the restraint generator 6. A switching means 75 is provided which, when the generated power control circuit 72 is in a deactivated state, disconnects the restraint generator 6 and the generated power control circuit 72 and connects the restraint generator 6 and the resistor 73 for current restriction. |
