POLARIZATION GLASSES TYPE STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image display device of a polarized glass type is provided to widen the top and bottom viewing angle of stereoscopic images while minimizing the deterioration of the aperture ratio and the brightness. CONSTITUTION: A stereoscopic image display device of a polarized glass type comprises: a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate (110); a color filter array substrate (120) in which a plurality of black matrix patterns (130) are formed on a first surface; a plurality of black stripe patterns (165) which is aligned in a first direction to be corresponded with each of the black matrix patterns on the second surface of the color filter array substrate; and a patterned retarder (180) which is arranged on the second surface of the color filter array substrate. The black stripe pattern is formed with a different width according to indication position for the first direction.
