PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber having appropriate releasability of an ink layer and small transmission loss of an optical signal.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical fiber 1 in which a clad layer 3 and an ink layer 4 are provided on the outer periphery of a core layer 2 made of quartz glass, wherein the adhesion strength between the core layer 2 and the clad layer 3 is 1.5 g/mm to 4.0 g/mm, the ink layer 4 is formed from a composition containing a coloring pigment and an ultraviolet curing urethane (meth)acrylate compound, and a curable resin composition for forming the clad layer 3 contains (A) at least a compound selected from a fluorine atom-containing urethane (meth)acrylate compound, a (meth)acrylate compound having a fluorinated polyether in the structure and a (meth)acrylated fluorine atom-containing vinyl polymer and (B) 0.2 to 1 wt.% of a specific alkoxysilane in which the fluorine content in the clad layer 3 is 20 to 60 wt.%. |
