PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail processing system, a window machine, a medium issuance machine, a server and a mail processor which allow the number of mails returned due to insufficient payment of mail fee to be reduced.SOLUTION: A window machine 10, a medium issuance machine and a mail processor installed in a post office are connected to one another via a network. The window machine can issue an IC card with an ID registered. The window machine and the medium issuance machine can issue an ID label by using the ID-registered IC card. When a mail with an ID label attached is provided to the mail processor, an ID number printed on the ID label is recognized and the mail fee is paid from a remaining charge accumulated in an IC card with the ID number registered. The mail processor can perform classification processing even when mails with only stamp(s) attached, mails with only an ID label attached and mails with stamp(s) and an ID label attached are mixed up. |
