COLUMN BASE PIN STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base pin structure for actualizing rational pin joint of the column base of a SRC column to a foundation.SOLUTION: The lower end of a core steelwork 2 is inserted and anchored into a socket steel pipe 5 embedded in a foundation 4. The inside bottom part of the socket steel pipe is a fixing part 5a for fixing the core steelwork, where fixing concrete 6 is filled. The inside upper part of the socket steel pipe is a supporting part 5b for supporting the core steelwork, where low-resistance material 7 is filled to make the rotating rigidity of the core steelwork adjustable. Elastic materials 8 are mounted between the lower part of a covering concrete 3 of the column and the foundation.
