A molded radome (10) for the beam path of a radar device (16) with low radio transmission loss and improved resistance to attack by the environmental elements comprises a base layer or body (18) composed of a resin and a decoration layer (20) bearing an image. The decoration layer is characterized with bright metallic looking coat disposed on the surface of the base layer or body.
