PURPOSE: A photochemical regeneration method of an oxidoreductase cofactor using proflavine is provided to quickly regenerate oxidoreductase cofactors and to enhance efficiency of various biocatalytic reactions using oxidoreductase. CONSTITUTION: A photochemical regeneration method of an oxidoreductase cofactor comprises the step of irradiating an oxidoreductase cofactor regeneration solution by light. The regeneration solution contains: oxidative oxidoreductase cofactors selected among NAD^+, NADP^+, FAD^+, and FMN^+; proflavine; a sacrificial electron donor; and an electron medium. An artificial biosynthesis method using proflavine comprises the steps of: irradiating the regeneration solution by light to optically regenerate cofactors; and preparing a useful material generated by oxidoreductase reaction using the regenerated cofactors. |
