PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and an image forming device capable of surely detecting a sheet tip position by a simple constitution also serving as the sheet feeder.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder 21 includes a feed roller 51 for sending out a sheet in the sheet feeding direction D by a frictional force, a sheet-like pull-up member 53 and a plate-like pull-up member 54 for moving a downstream end of the sheet to a contact position from a noncontact position to the feed roller accompanied by the rotation of the feed roller. The sheet feeder also includes an electric current measuring circuit for detecting sheet arrival to a normal feed position of the feed roller based on a torque change in the feed roller when the frictional force of the feed roller transfers to the sheet by moving the sheet-like pull-up member and the plate-like pull-up member to the contact position. |
