PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase noise performance without reducing other performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a tread surface having shoulder circumferential main grooves, shoulder lateral grooves extending from the shoulder circumferential main grooves toward tread ground-contact ends, and middle lateral grooves extending from the shoulder circumferential main grooves toward a tire equatorial plane. The shoulder circumferential main groove extends in a zigzag manner through tire axial inner and outer points alternately. The middle lateral groove extends from the inner points diagonally to one side in the circumferential direction with an angle of &thetas;m of 50-75 degrees relative to a tire axial direction. The shoulder lateral groove extends from the shoulder main groove in a same tilt direction as the middle lateral groove with an angle of &thetas;s of 10-25 degrees relative to the tire axial direction. The pitch number ns of the shoulder lateral grooves is larger than the pitch number nm of the middle lateral grooves. |
