PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear design support method with which gear design support can be performed with high accuracy and easily, a recording medium and a gear design support device.SOLUTION: Gear drive condition information is given, information about base circle center coordinates and a base circle radius is obtained, and a gear action line corresponding to a rotation direction is calculated. A meshing force is calculated from a sum of a product of a deflection amount in gear meshing on the gear action line and tooth couple rigidity in a contact position and a product of a deflection speed and a tooth couple viscosity attenuation coefficient. A motion equation is generated for a tooth couple in which tooth surface normal meshing forces are in contact on the action line, the motion equation is solved in a time series manner, and an operation result of a driving shaft and a driven shaft is output. |
