PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest for a vehicle seat capable of reducing a load applied to an occupant in collision of the vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat 1 having a seat part 2, a seat back 3, and a headrest 4, the headrest 4 includes a headrest stay 5 attached to the seat back 3 so as to be inserted thereinto and extracted therefrom and a headrest body 6 attached to the headrest stay 5. The headrest body 6 includes a fixed part 7 fixed to the headrest stay 5 and a movable part 8 which is disposed on the front side of the fixed part 7 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and supported on the fixed part 7 slidably to the vertical upper side of the vehicle. The movable part 8 is slidable on the fixed part 7 to the vertical upper side of the vehicle when a load of the movable part 8 applied to the fixed part 7 to the vertical upper side of the vehicle exceeds a threshold. |
