PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate measurement device capable of discriminating a gas appliance whose flow rate increases to reach extinguishment.SOLUTION: In a flow rate measurement device 1 to which a plurality of appliances are connected, characteristics of instantaneous flow rate change of a flow rate are grasped to certainly discriminate a gas appliance whose flow rate increases to reach extinguishment by including: a flow rate measurement part 2; and a time measurement part 3, calculating flow rate difference (m=&Dgr;Q/&Dgr;t) per unit time of the flow rate obtained by the flow rate measurement part 2 for timing of the time measurement part 3, a fact that sign inversion of the flow rate difference is confirmed, and discriminating whether or not a difference gradient (&thetas;=&Dgr;m/&Dgr;t) at that time is within a predetermined range. |
