PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a water stream pump which produces a water stream for removing air bubbles produced on an electrode surface of a light hydrogen production system requires driving energy.SOLUTION: A light hydrogen production system includes a light hydrogen production device which produces hydrogen through irradiation with light, a gas-liquid separator which separates gas-liquid mixed water comprising an electrolyte including bubbles of hydrogen produced by the light hydrogen production device and water into the hydrogen and an electrolyte including the water, a gas-liquid pipe connecting the light hydrogen production device and gas-liquid separator to each other, and an electrolyte pipe which introduces the electrolyte including the water separated by the gas-liquid separator into the light hydrogen production device again. The gas-liquid separator is positioned above the light hydrogen production device, and the gas-liquid mixed water is guided from the light hydrogen production device to the gas-liquid separator through the gas-liquid pipe by the buoyancy of bubbles included in the gas-liquid mixed water. |
