PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suppression of energy consumption and prolonging of the lifetime of a light source when a liquid to be cured with ultraviolet rays is ejected and irradiated with the ultraviolet rays to be cured.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection apparatus includes a liquid ejection part which ejects light to be cured with ultraviolet rays and an irradiation part which irradiates the liquid with the ultraviolet rays to cure the liquid. The liquid ejection part can eject the liquid by a first ejection amount, by a second ejection amount larger than the first ejection amount, and by a third ejection amount larger than the second ejection amount. The irradiation part can irradiates the liquid by a first irradiation amount large enough to cure the first ejection amount of liquid, by a second irradiation amount large enough to cure the second ejection amount of liquid, and by a third irradiation amount large enough to cure the third ejection amount of liquid. The second irradiation amount is smaller than the first irradiation amount and second irradiation amount. |
