PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery causing no deterioration in charge/discharge performance of a battery even when a negative electrode contains lithium, and improved in safety even during long-term use and an abnormal state by suppressing needle-like precipitation of lithium.SOLUTION: A battery includes: an ion conductor containing a low molecular gelator (a low molecular gelator having a perfluoroalkyl group, a coumarin type gelator, a gelator having an azo group, or the like) having a gelling ability in order to enhance an effect for suppressing needle-like precipitation of lithium; a negative electrode containing a lithium compound as a negative electrode active material; and a positive electrode. The battery can be also applied for a lithium-air battery. |
