PURPOSE: A relay attack prevention method of a smart key system is provided to prevent the robbery possibility of articles in a vehicle in advance by using a FOB key. CONSTITUTION: A challenge signal reception step (S10) receives a signal by using a FOB key. A first decoding step (S20) decodes the level difference of RSSI in the received challenge signal. A response signal transmission step (S30) transmits a response signal to a smart key unit when the level difference of the analyzed RSSI is matched with a set value. A second decoding step (S40) decodes the response signal received by the smart key unit. A normal user determination step determining the state of a passive operation signal applied from the door of a vehicle.
