PURPOSE: A ship is provided to increase a freight loading space and the size of an engine room by improving the arrangement of a pump room. CONSTITUTION: A ship (1) comprises an engine room (10), a pump room (20), an oil tank (40), and a slop tank (50). An engine for transferring thrust to a propeller (2) is loaded in the engine room. The pump room is arranged on the front of the engine room and receives a pump therein. The oil tank is arranged on the top of the pump room and stores oil supplied to the engine therein. The slop tank is arranged on the top of the pump room and the front of the oil tank. The width of the pump room is the same as the sum of the widths of the slop tank and the oil tank.
