PURPOSE: A growing method of Protaetia brevitarsis, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating liver disease, and health functional food are provided to use a Protaetia brevitarsis extract as an active ingredient for the composition and the food. CONSTITUTION: A growing method of Protaetia brevitarsis uses mixed feed containing less than 15wt% of fermented aloe vera. The fermented aloe vera is obtained by decomposing aloe vera powder using cellulose-decomposing bacteria less than 2 months. The cellulose-decomposing bacteria are obtained from excretion of Protaetia brevitarsis larvae. |
