PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for optical fixing capable of melting to sufficiently infiltrate and join a transfer material even when the toner is not pressed, and ensuring sufficient fixability with a small amount of irradiation energy; and an image forming apparatus including the toner.SOLUTION: A toner for optical fixing includes at least a binder resin, a mold release agent, colorant, and a charge control agent. The surface tension STof the binder resin in a molten state and the surface tension STof the mold release agent in a molten state satisfy the relationship of ST>ST; and the toner for optical fixing includes the mold release agent in the amount of 5 to 20 wt.%. |
