PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device retaining the thinning and frame narrowing and capable of preventing an erroneous insertion of a frame component having a rod shape into a coupler, and a television receiver.SOLUTION: A display device can be assembled by just inserting an end of a vertical frame component 202 into a recess 42 corresponding to an inclined surface 26b. This configuration dispenses with a large space for assembling of a front cabinet 20 and can retain the thinning and the frame narrowing. In one television receiver, the inclined surface 26b is formed on an end part of the vertical frame component 202, and the recess 42 corresponding to the inclined surface 26b is formed on a coupler 40. In another television receiver, a vertical frame component 202 having no inclined surface 26b and a coupler corresponding to the vertical frame component 202 are used to prevent an erroneous insertion. |
