PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position teaching device and a position teaching method for performing a position teaching operation in short time without losing sight of an object during the position teaching operation.SOLUTION: When a drag operation point 51 is dragged on an image G displayed on a touch panel TP, a drag direction and a drag amount of the drag operation point 51 are read so that a target mark TM displayed at a target mounting position 3 in the image G at a point of time when drag of the drag operation point 51 is started is moved on a moving locus D2 same as a moving locus D1 in the image G of the drag operation point 51. When the target mark TM matches to a component 4, and the drag is terminated, a relative position to the target mounting position 3 of the component 4 is calculated based on relative relation between a position of the target mark TM at the point of time when the drag of the drag operation point 51 is started and a position of the target mark TM at the point of time when the drag is terminated. |
