PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant styrene resin sheet foam that has fine appearance and is excellent in lightness, heat resistance, cushioning property, etc.SOLUTION: A heat-resistant styrene resin sheet foam is manufactured by using a styrene methacrylic acid copolymer containing a small amount of methacrylic acid as a raw material resin and extruding the same into a sheet form with the shear rate of the raw material resin at an outlet of a die mouth piece being adjusted to 1.0×10-1.5×10sec, wherein the styrene methacrylic acid copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 210,000-260,000 and a Vicat softening point measured according to JIS K7206 of 108-114°C. The heat-resistant styrene resin sheet foam has a thickness of 1.0-3.5 mm and an apparent specific gravity of 0.050-0.105 g/cm. |
