FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation of multipass stamping of complex parts and can be used for transfer of heavy billets like log-length bar or rod in juxtaposition forges with vertical opening of female dies. Proposed device comprises post with flexible suspension to support billet transfer drive. Said mechanism comprises air cylinder and carriage. The latter comprises lateral thrusts and roller arranged at its front to support flexible suspension. Said carriage is coupled with air cylinder to reciprocate horizontally. Besides, aforesaid post accommodates sliders, first and second air thrusts, front thrust and detachable spacers.
