An apparatus for sensing temperature of a reheating furnace is provided to improve temperature measuring accuracy of the reheating furnace and protecting property of the sensors by positioning temperature measuring sensors using structure of fixed beam posts installed in the reheating furnace. In a reheating furnace having fixed beams(160) moving beams(170) for placing and moving a workpiece, an apparatus(1) for sensing temperature of the reheating furnace comprises: a wire(10) formed between an inner pipe(162b) and a refractory body(162a) of fixed beam posts(162) installed on a floor(102) of the reheating furnace; and temperature measuring sensors(30) connected to the wire and projectingly formed on the post refractory body of the fixed beams. The temperature measuring sensors are positioned at an elevation corresponding to at least intermediate parts of the fixed beam posts such that the temperature measuring sensors are deviated from a scale layer and a low temperature area on the bottom of the reheating furnace. The temperature measuring sensors are fitted into sensor protecting members made of a refractory material and inserted into placement grooves formed on the refractory body of the fixed beam posts in a state that the sensor protecting members are integrally sealed. |
