PURPOSE: A device for preventing upper and lower overhead cranes from interfering with a work is provided to prevent accidents caused by the fall of a heavy object by preventing upper and lower overhead cranes from interfering with a work. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing upper and lower overhead cranes from interfering with a work comprises upper overhead crane (10) and a lower overhead crane (20). The upper and lower overhead cranes are installed inside of a plant and have different heights. A cable sensing part (40) is installed on one side of the lower overhead crane and senses the touch of a cable of the upper overhead crane. The cable sensing part comprises front end and rear end sensing parts (41, 42). The front end sensing parts are installed on one end of left and right saddles (22, 23) of the lower overhead crane. The rear end sensing parts are installed on the other end of the left and right saddles of the lower overhead crane.
