METHOD FOR DIRECT DETERMINATION OF CONCENTRATION OF NICKEL IN VEGETABLE FATS AND OILS

A method for direct determination of concentration of nickel in vegetable fats and oils prescribes dosing the sample to the surface of graphite “bushing-filter” placed to tubular electro-thermal furnace, temperature treatment and atomization and following registration of atomic absorption. The sample is dosed to the outer surface of the graphite “bushing-filter” made of porous graphite MPG-6. Length of the graphite “bushing-filter” is equal to 28 mm, this provides effective enough diffusion of nickel to the zone of formation of analytical signal and increase of sensitivity of its determination.
