<p>PURPOSE: A determination method of whether a smartphone is lost and a data deletion method for a lost smartphone are provided to prevent user's personal information from being used by deleting the personal information in the case of a mobile device is lost. CONSTITUTION: If a program starts to operate for the first time, a smartphone communicates with a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) chip. The smartphone calls up personal information which is stored in the smartphone. The smartphone stores an initially stored version which includes an inquiry date, a telephone number, a name, etc. If the user of the smartphone restarts the smartphone after turning off the smartphone, the smartphone performs the same retrieving procedure from the USIM chip. The smartphone compares the retrieved information and the initially stored version. If the retrieved information is different from the initially stored version, the smartphone is recognized as a lost phone or a phone whose user is changed.</p> |
