PURPOSE: An indoor lighting device does not disturb other people by checking a very dark room condition without a separate switch operation. CONSTITUTION: A surface-emitting lamp (12) is embedded in a cover case extended to a door-lock strike (10). An opening and closing detection unit detects the opening or closing of a hinge-connected door (4). The opening and closing detection unit detects the insertion of a latch bolt (8) into a locking groove (11) of the door-lock strike. A control unit controls the lighting of the surface-emitting lamp according to the door states. A circuit board in which a light emitting lamp is installed is mounted on the cover case.
