PURPOSE: An organic light emitting display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve display quality, by changing data by considering brightness distribution of high grayscale, middle grayscale and low grayscale. CONSTITUTION: A data driving unit generates a data signal which is to be supplied to data lines by using second data. A brightness extraction unit (62) extracts brightness value from first data. A prediction unit (64) generates a first calculation value showing the ratio of low grayscale from the brightness value, a second calculation value showing the ratio of high grayscale and a compensation value including brightness distribution information. A compensation unit (66) generates second data by using the first calculation value, the second calculation value and the compensation value.
