PURPOSE: An information search device, an information search method, a computer-readable recording medium are provided to accurately identify the intention of information users and the context of search words inputted by the information user, thereby providing correct information. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit (700) provides the information of a search window including a search entity, a directory, a record, and an intention field to a user terminal. A storage unit (720) comprises a database which stores contents information indexed and classified by category. If a search word is inputted to the search window in each field, a control unit (710) sequentially searches the category by using the search word. The control unit respectively determines a directory level which a directory search word inputted to a directory field belongs to and a record level which a record search word inputted to a record field belongs to as the top level.
