METHOD FOR FORMATION OF LOW COLO-ANAL ANASTOMOSIS AT SHORT RECTAL STUMP AFTER BOWEL RESECTION IN LOWER AMPULLARY CANCER

摘要

A method for formation of low colo-anal anastomosis at short rectal stump after bowel resection in lower ampullary cancer comprises the standard low resection of the rectum. Additional mobilization of rectum stump iss carried out in a way that segment of intestine stump separated from pelvic floor contained the distal portion of the internal anal sphincter adjacent to it, and purse-string suture required for further formation of stepler anastomosis is applied to the stump intestine edge after turning inside out, i.e. from the perineum.
