A method for modernization of a wheel-motor unit of a railway locomotive, which consists of a traction motor with motor-axial plain bearings, a wheel pair, which consists of wheel centers with treads and axle, one or two traction gear boxes, one or two gears and two boxes including dismantling body of a traction gear box or two traction gear boxes, a traction motor with motor-axial plain bearings, axle boxes, compaction of wheel centers and one or two gears of axle, restoration or repair, or replacement of the body of traction gear box, wheel centers, gears, axle boxes and assembly of wheel-motor unit, moreover, after dismantling the traction motor with motor-axial sliding bearings is modernized by removing the motor-axial sliding bearings and welding to the body of traction motor of beams for fasteners of the body of motor and axial rolling bearings followed by replacement of the axle of wheel pair with motor and axial sliding bearings on the axle of wheel pair with motor axial rolling bearings, on which the body is put, in which motor and axial rolling bearings are mounted, in the case of removal of the wheel-motor unit the modernized traction electric motor is connected to the body of motor and axial rolling bearings. |
