PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve photo-electric conversion efficiency by reducing a band gap between a buffer layer and a window layer. CONSTITUTION: A back surface electrode layer (200) is formed on a support substrate (100). A light absorption layer (300) is formed on the back surface electrode layer. A plurality of buffer layers (400) are formed on the light absorption layer. A window layer (600) is formed on the buffer layers. An impurity doping layer (700) is formed on the window layer. A high resistance layer (500) is formed between the buffer layers and the window layer.
