PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling curvature of a curved display device and a control method thereof are provided to maximize image quality for a viewer to experience, by controlling the curvature to be changed according to the situation. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit comprises a sensor (110a), and senses position and number of viewers (10) from a curved display panel (200). An operation unit calculates optimized curvature of the curved display panel according to the position and the number of the viewers by using the data detected from the sensor unit. A curvature changing unit (170) changes the curvature of the curved display panel in order to correspond to the curvature optimized from the operation unit. |
