A displacement transducer includes two circular permanent magnets pressed to each other with same poles, and a pair of gradiometers placed at the axis of the circular permanent magnets one with respect to another at distance equal to the length of the permanent magnet. A flux-gate meter is used, this is placed at the axis of the circular permanent magnets between the gradiometers, and the output windings of the gradiometers and the flux-gate meter are connected in series. |
